Now that I hear Civit has revamped their TOS to the standard "What's ours is ours and what's yours is ours too" I regret to inform everyone here I will be pulling up stakes and leaving. I have a few posts still scheduled so I'll leave this account up till all of them post. In the meantime I will burn through the buzz I have banked up and when it's all gone, so am I. I am so sick of websites and software companies assuming I'll work for them for free, especially a certain one headquartered in Redmond, WA. All this crap starting with EULA's could have been stomped out back in the 80's. Now it's metastasized into other industries such as farm equipment. And what really fries my shorts is if the staff simply shot me a message saying "Hey, can we use this image for X and Y?" More than likely I would have said yes. But just swooping in and grabbing whether I like it or not? Screw that. As I stated in my kissoff, I am NOT working for this site for free.
